Well worth it, if only for the inspiring examples! The healthy note of humour here and there certainly helps while struggling through some of the more detailed parts where local legislations are discussed in detail )
Becoming a perpetual traveller would perhaps be a little too extreme for me, but the various (sometimes even hilarious) examples taught me that it really is possible to work, live and invest anywhere on the globe, without paying too much in taxes ;)
I loved this book! Really opened my eyes to the high taxes we're subject to here in Belgium, relative to other countries! Made me realise that there are lots of options out there to change your life and business for the better, if only you are willing to make a change!
The authors manage to transform difficult legal concepts into understandable language. Contains funny libertarian paragraphs and confirms that IT specialists are the New Rich (Intellectual Property is an invaluable asset in international tax planning). The last chapter is a great overview of excellent places to relocate to.
Great overview of the possibilities of reducing one's tax bill for those who are willing to change their domicile and/or their place of doing business. The introductory chapters are a little heavy on libertarian rhetoric, but then there is enough meat to make the reading worthwhile for the uninitiated, or those who want to catch up with the changes in an evolving international tax landscape. Don't expect an in-depth how-to manual, though; like many similar publications, the book is a bit of a teaser for the legal services offered by the authors.
As opposed to Nicholas Shaxson, these two authors do know what they're talking about.

Einstein once said "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough". This book is the living proof that the authors understood Einstein's message loud and clear.

Perfect read for overtaxed people valuable tips and guidelines, inspiring and funny.
Excellent source of inspiration for entrepreneurs who are being overwhelmed with red tape and taxes. For those who are willing to change things this is a must read.

Once you've read this book, you'll realise that smart tax planning doesn't have to be complicated, nor costly. The chapter The Discreet Businessman and its subsection 'Bring that wizard inside you to life' really inspired me. Plenty of opportunities, even for smaller companies and one-man businesses.
